Key Responsibilities: These responsibilities generally describe the nature of the position and may not be all inclusive: Attend project and coordination meetings as needed Manage and schedule additional part-time Quality Control personnel to support all QC requirements Perform and document daily quality inspections Complete and submit the daily Quality Control Report Capture and maintain daily jobsite photographs Meet with all new hires to review jobsite QC requirements Oversee document control, including plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and O&M manuals Manage material control, including receipt inspections and mill reports Inspect installation quality: structural supports, hanger locations, slope, cleanliness, and overall workmanship Verify proper pipe joining methods (glue, weld, press, solder, fusion welding, etc.) Track and maintain certifications (weld, braze, solder, etc.) Verify excavation, backfill, and compaction requirements Oversee and document pressure testing Coordinate and document duct leakage testing Support and document flush and fill procedures Coordinate duct cleaning activities Ensure protection of finished work and installed equipment Prepare, organize, and submit the final document turnover package Provide startup and commissioning support as necessary Conduct yourself in accordance with Horwitz core values: Safe, Accountable, Professional, Motivated, Can Do, and Curious Demonstrate a commitment to "Get better every day." Position Overview: The Site Quality Representative supports Horwitz's Quality Control Program by performing field inspections, documentation reviews, material receipt checks, and compliance verification across mechanical, electrical, insulation, and control system installations.
