Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Owner of the CAPA process
Good understanding of the Manufacturing processes and Quality System.
Promote/ Leading / mentoring / conducting quality improvement projects thru continuous improvement initiatives.
May obtain Green/Black Belt Certification.
Assist in the acceptance and validation of process equipment.
Review and develop changes in existing or proposed processes or requirements to achieve optimum performance and quality, cost.
Assume a role of leadership in analyzing and resolving issues, which lead to strengthening the CAPAs effectiveness.
Stay informed as to the latest requirements of federal regulations and corporate policies regarding medical devices.
Lead and ensure regulatory compliance is met and that the manufacturing unit is trained on all requirements.
Provide support and guidance on quality/ process improvements.
Ensure that all company safety rules and regulations are followed and promote general plant safety.
Assist in internal/ external audits as needed.

Ability to generate validation protocols, which comply with the globalization standardization initiative.
Experience working in medical device manufacturing industry
Experience in metrology and gauge fixture design preferred.

3 years practical GMP / Medical Device manufacturing experience.

Become a maker of possible with us.Rotating schedule / A Shift / 6AM-6PMJG2PCP3## Position Summary<ul><li>Setup and operate machines in accordance with standard practices.</li><li>Maintain acceptable levels of production, quality and housekeeping in accordance with good manufacturing practices in an injection molding environment.</li><li>Ensure that the molding department produces high quality, low cost molded components for the assembly department, by running press within validated parameters, inspect parts radically, setting & pulling molds, diagnosing & repairing problems and implementing continuous improvements.</li><li>Ensures compliance with BD quality systems, policies, procedures and best practices, and all local, state, federal and BD safety regulations, policies and procedures.</li><li>Regular, punctual attendance is an essential job function.</li><li>Ability to read and write and converse in English.</li><li>Willing and able to uphold BD Values.</li></ul>## Duties/Responsibilities<ul><li>Keep the line running</li><li>Restart press as needed</li><li>Perform periodical part inspection</li><li>Troubleshooting & preventative maintenance molding machine and fill out documentation</li><li>Verify the mold is running with-in validated parameters and parts meet acceptance criteria.</li><li>Assist with the set-up and maintenance of auxiliary equipment, including conveyors, water temperature controls, and mold hot runner controls and make minor repairs to machines and equipment and notify proper personnel of necessary major repairs.</li><li>Responsible for adherence to Quality Specifications for all products, and follow and promote all safety and environmental procedures.</li><li>Fill out all documents on molding runs to control traceability and ensure reproducibility.</li><li>Relieve other molding technicians on breaks and in the event of absenteeism, train and assist mold utility.</li><li>Promote and maintain an atmosphere of cooperation among and between shifts, tool room, quality control, and management to facilitate production goals.</li><li>Set and Pull Molds.</li><li>Work with Q.C. Reps for 1st piece approvals.</li><li>Perform PMs on equipment each shift.</li><li>Address quality defects detected at in process inspections by troubleshooting the molding process and equipment.</li><li>Work with the in process inspector to ensure product being produced meets quality criteria.</li><li>Maintain the molding department and their assigned equipment with GMP regarding quality, cleanliness, part containment, and documentation.</li><li>Work with the Lead Tech and mold repair to keep cavity utilization in the green.</li><li>Assist the Lead Molding Technician with projects, EWOs, Eng.
