Monitor quality testing protocols to ensure that all tests are performed according to established operating procedures • Guide and train junior staff as needed • Calibrate, validate, and maintain laboratory equipment • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe laboratory environment following health and safety guidelines • Performs other duties as assigned Job Qualifications • BS or BA degree in Histotechnology, Life Science, Biochemistry, or equivalent combination of education and experience • 2 to 5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience • Histotechnology experience highly desirable • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and procedures desired • Ability to section and mount serial sections using a rotary microtome and cryostat • Experience in ELISA, BCA, SEC, SDS gels, and chromatography • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
