The role is assigned to one designated radiography area, such as Inpatient, Outpatient, or Emergency Room, but may be asked to provide coverage in alternate locations or Mass General Brigham sites, with appropriate training, based on operational needs. The Radiologic Technologist explains exams, procedures, and safety protocols to patients; operates fluoroscopic, portable, diagnostic, and other imaging equipment as required; and works both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary care team.
