The teacher will collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, paraprofessionals, and building administrators to support student growth while maintaining ongoing, accessible communication with parents/guardians regarding instructional programs, student progress, and the home-school connection. The Special Education Teacher provides appropriate educational programming for elementary-aged students with ASD and related disabilities, including but not limited to intellectual disabilities, developmental delays, and other health impairments, in a sub-separate setting.
