Under direct physician supervision, assists during diagnostic and therapeutic intervention procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, stent placements, ASD/PFO closures, Watchman, TAVR and other structural heart procedures, CRM device placements and removals. Knowledge of computers, anatomy, physiology, safety hazards common to Cardiac Cath Lab equipment used, body mechanics, isolation procedures and body fluid precautions.
