The RT may provide patient care related tasks as directed including checking patients into exam rooms, providing written patient education, phlebotomy, Point of Care tests, processing lab specimens and assisting in minor surgical procedures. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff including, but not limited to, utilizing two patient identifiers, radiation safety, infection control and equipment safety.
