Require registration in 2 cardiovascular specialties including vascular technology, cardiac sonography for adult, cardiac sonography for pediatrics by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (RVT and RDCS), adult cardiac sonography, congenital cardiac sonography, vascular specialists, and advanced cardiac sonographer from Cardiac Credentialing International (RVS, RCS, RCCS, ACS). The ACS is committed to improving overall lab quality and efficiency through preparing preliminary echo assessments; performing advanced echocardiograms; mentoring fellows, students, residents, and staff facilitating continuous improvement and coordinating cardiac ultrasound research.
