Status:. p>Responsibilities The Radiologic Technologist II is responsible for: • Preparing patients for procedures • Operating x-ray equipment • Obtaining diagnostic images • Assisting physicians/APCs in procedures • Performing inpatient and outpatient procedures • Working in emergency rooms, fluoroscopy, portables, and operating rooms. The Role The Radiologic Technologist II works independently and/or assists physicians/APCs in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images in the acute setting. p>A leading healthcare system in Charlotte, NC is seeking experienced Interventional Radiology Technologists to join a fast-paced, team-oriented Radiology Special Studies department. The role includes exposure to radiation, blood, and bodily fluids, and requires strong manual dexterity, normal vision, good hand-eye coordination, and constant concentration during procedures. Experienced radiographer with competency in special imaging technique demonstrating vascular structures and, at least, 2 years experience in IR/Special Procedures. Must also hold advanced certification through ARRT in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI) or Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI). Ongoing participation in continuing education Ability and desire to perform AIDET customer service skills for all Imaging patients is required. Experienced radiographer with competency in special imaging technique demonstrating vascular structures and sterile technique is preferred. The position requires rotating shifts within the emergency department, operating room, and main level suites, providing care for both adult and pediatric patients. Location: Charlotte, NC Type: Travel Schedule: 3x12 Nights Time: 13 Weeks .
