Follows prescribed techniques (adjusts equipment, determines proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time, arranges immobilization and support devices to obtain position of patient, adjusts lead shielding, and selects proper film size. Always verifies correct patient by using two patient's identifiers by always asking the patients their name, date of birth, and compare it with the patient's requisition prior to transporting to Radiology or performing any radiologic procedure.
