This is an onsite position based in Temple, Texas. Join PDI Technologies Managed Services team and start building your career in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. In this role, youll support key business operations such as accounting, pricing, fuel management, and data processing for leading convenience retail and petroleum companies.Youll work with experienced professionals, learn industry systems, and gain hands-on experience with real business data. This is a great opportunity to develop foundational skills in finance, operations, and technology while contributing to solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and overall business performance.If youre detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in how businesses operate behind the scenes, this role offers a strong starting point for long-term career growth.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain and record business transactions for assigned accounts, including A/P and A/R functions routine accounting activities</li><li>Perform general ledger activities such as journal entries for accruals or expense account reclassifications</li><li>Interface with store managers and personnel to ensure efficient store processing, providing timely and accurate data, preparing statements and basic financial reports</li><li>Generate and reviews customer financial statements, posts journal entries, and reconciles accounts (including period close process) including billing, bank statements, and credit card settlements</li><li>Review and analyze monthly operating results for accuracy and reasonableness, providing recommendations when opportunities for improvement are presented</li><li>Follow up on accounting/system issues that affect accounts to ensure proper reporting of financial data</li><li>Develop and maintain financial reporting and tracking tools</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Intermediate Excel skills</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Convenience store or retail experience is a plus</li></ul>Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or in the future. For over 30 years, Cedar Crest has successfully served the Belton, TX community treating substance use and mental health issues with tailored inpatient, residential and outpatient programs. Situated on over 30 acres in the beautiful rolling hills of Central Texas, Cedar Crest provides innovative behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the Chief Financial Officer in Training: During the training program, the CFO in training will focus on developing the following skills and responsibilities: <ol><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Monitor and control accounts receivables.</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Oversee Business Office functions to ensure cash collection goals are met and net revenue is accurately reported.</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Improve the profitability of the hospital by monitoring costs, particularly in relation to patient volume and staffing.</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Develop and enforce policies and procedures within generally accepted accounting principles and corporate guidelines to ensure sufficient cash flow, reduced operating costs, and increased revenues.</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Prepare monthly financial statements, financial packages, and reports/analysis.</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Provide reconciliations, account analysis, and other information to support the Reimbursement Department, Tax Department, Auditors, etc.</li><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Collaborate with management and department heads to prepare the annual budget, reviewing prior financial results and identifying future needs and trends of the facility.</li></ol>

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements for the Program: To be considered for the CFO Training Program, candidates must meet the following criteria: <ol><li style="margin-left:0.5in">Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
