One year experience as a nurse's aide, mental health aide, psych aide, or the equivalent in a rehabilitation, psychiatric, or similar setting, OR two years of experience working with youth in an inpatient/residential setting, (i.e., Group Home, Detention Center), OR specialized experience with a predominate diagnosis cluster of the patients served (i.e., Teens with MH/IDD/SA). Maintaining clear access for communication between the youth and their systems of Care individuals (example Social Worker, approved family members/friends, probation officers, case managers, psychiatrist, psychologist, therapist, GAL and those identified as part of program).
