Understands and follows safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and around a manufacturing environment Ability to set-up and operate machinery and equipment to cut, punch, form, or paint quality finished or semifinished parts Ability to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment Performs routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation Marks part numbers, order numbers, and the number of pieces on parts Attaches identification tags as required for customer to have the ability locate correct parts Interprets blueprints, specifications, and other technical data to select the correct raw material or semifinished parts Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area May be assigned other projects and duties as designated by Team Leader.
