As a member of Student Success and School Safety Teams, the nurse works in partnership with students, families, staff, healthcare providers, and community organizations to reduce barriers to learning and ensure every student feels known, safe, and supported. Primary Purpose: The School Nurse provides culturally responsive and trauma-informed health services; responds to illness, injury, and medical emergencies; coordinates care for students with ongoing health needs; and promotes the physical and emotional well-being of the school community.
