p>The Registered Dietitian, under the direction of the coordinator, provides clinical nutrition services to patients by providing medical nutrition therapy, performing all components of the Nutrition Care Process (including nutrition assessment, nutrition diagnosis, nutrition intervention, and nutrition monitoring and evaluation), and formulating/calculating modified diets (including oral diets, enteral nutrition, and parenteral nutrition). Develops and implements nutrition care plans utilizing appropriate nutrition interventions (including oral diets, oral nutrition supplements, enter nutrition, parenteral nutrition, referral to other services/community agencies).
