Proficiency with accessing and managing ports, blood product administration, central line care and management, feeding tube care and management, sheath removal, cardiac telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, medical-surgical telemetry, neurological progressive care, and pre- and post-cardiac catheterization care. Clinical responsibilities include telemetry monitoring, neurological assessment using the National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and care involving blood products, central lines, feeding tubes, ports, and post-cardiac catheterization procedures.
