Patient population includes CHF, arrhythmias/A-fib/A-flutter, ACS-STEMI/NSTEMI, heart valve disease, CAD, hypertensive crisis, chest pain/SOB/syncope, pacemaker/AICD malfunction, acute renal failure, LVAD, and CT surgery (CABG, valve, transplant) patients. Skills required include IV therapy/phlebotomy, central line care/management, PICC line management, starting/maintaining IVs, and management of cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration).
