Required Qualifications: Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; minimum of 2.5 years of recent, consistent home-unit experience in a transitional care unit, stepdown, or progressive care unit; travel nursing experience; teaching hospital experience; electronic health record charting experience using Epic; proficiency in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, intravenous therapy, wound care, surgical drains, isolation precautions, blood product administration, heparin protocols, port management, and wound vacuum care. Preferred Qualifications: National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; previous charge experience; experience caring for acute care patients recovering from procedures such as biopsies.
