p>Have a doctoral degree in any area of psychology and, in addition, successfully complete a re- specialization program (including documentation of an approved internship completed as part of the re- specialization program) meeting both of the following conditions:(a) The re-specialization program must be completed in an APA or a CPA accredited doctoral program; and,(b) the specialty in which the applicant is retrained must be consistent with the assignment for which the applicant is to be employed. MH RRTPs mission is to provide a comprehensive, evidence-based, patient-centered treatment program that utilizes developmental, biological, psychological, and sociological approaches within a safe environment to provide individualized rehabilitation for problems associated with substance use disorder (SUD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
p>Duties include directing administering, and managing all aspects of the program, including comprehensive planning, developing and implementing programs, policies and procedures; determining program needs; overseeing the type, quality and quantity of services provided; setting priorities; and establishing short- and long-range program goals, initiatives, and direction. MH RRTPs mission is to provide a comprehensive, evidence-based, patient-centered treatment program that utilizes developmental, biological, psychological, and sociological approaches within a safe environment to provide individualized rehabilitation for problems associated with substance use disorder (SUD) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
Our diversified healthcare delivery network spans 29 states and includes 63 community hospital campuses, 32 rehabilitation and behavioral health hospitals, and more than 170 additional sites of care across the healthcare continuum, such as acute rehabilitation units, outpatient centers and post-acute care facilities. Able to assess patient pain interfering with optimal level of function of participation in rehabilitation; makes appropriate interventions to reduce pain; makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
p>Minimum Requirements: Requires MD or DO and Board certification approved by one of the following certifying boards is required, where applicable to duties being performed, American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA). Unless expressly allowed by state or federal law, or regulation, must be located in a state or territory of the United States when conducting utilization review or an appeals consideration and cannot be located on a US military base, vessel or any embassy located in or outside of the US.
p>Certification Exceptions for Graduate Rehabilitation Counselor (RC): RC graduates from an approved counseling or rehabilitation counseling program who otherwise meet the basic qualification requirements and the additional degree requirements for CRC certification by the CRCC, but do not possess the required certification, may be appointed, pending certification, as a graduate RC on a full-time temporary appointment not-to-exceed two years under the authority of 38 USC 7405(a)(1)(D). In addition to meeting the experience or educational requirements for this grade level, candidates must demonstrate the following KSAs:
