Install and assemble high-voltage equipment such as transformers, breakers, switches, bus work, and control panels Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans Build grounding systems, conduit runs, cable trays, and structural supports Pull, terminate, and label control wiring and power cables Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment as required Perform equipment testing, inspections, and quality checks Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and industry regulations Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades on-site Document work performed and report progress or issues to leadership. Required: High School Diploma or GED Line School Certificate or Transcripts Department of Labor Recognized Journeyman Lineworker Certification or proof of equivalent hours worked 4+ years previous substation construction or equivalent experience Active, Valid Drivers License Valid CDL A is preferred.
