Academic Partnerships, Workforce, and the UME-GME Continuum: Serving as the primary GME liaison among Atrium Medical Center, Premier Health, and WSU BSOM, this role coordinates with undergraduate medical education leaders to develop student rotations and longitudinal experiences, while collaborating with community practices, public health agencies, and regional partners to build comprehensive pathways connecting medical students to advanced training, long-term physician recruitment, and educational programs that advance health equity, population health, and regional workforce needs. Clinical Learning Environment, Quality, and Patient Safety: Foster a respectful, inclusive, and educationally rigorous clinical learning environment by integrating residents and faculty into patient-safety and quality-improvement teams, partnering with clinical leaders to ensure appropriate supervision, workload balance, and well-being resources, monitoring surveys and safety reports to drive corrective actions, and serving as a trusted, accessible resource that safeguards due process, educational integrity, and patient care.
