p>Duties / Responsibilities: • The Assistant Production Manager, under the direction of the Production Manager, will be responsible for the following duties/responsibilities: • Ability to lead large groups of people and focus on developing a culture of accountability working as a team • Strict adherence and compliance with quality assurance requirements to include HUD building codes • Be safety minded and ability to put Safety 1st - must adhere to strict safety rules and guidelines • Reviewing production performance and identifying training opportunities of production personnel as necessary • Direct teams effectively in each department to ensure timelines and production priorities are met • Provide sound leadership, coaching, mentoring, and direction for personnel development and employee engagement • Improve production processes for the purpose of improving overall quality, reducing lead-times, and lowering costs of operations by utilizing Lean Manufacturing methods, 6S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, etc. Our company portfolio includes a broad offering of attainable housing, and as a vertically integrated home builder, we are uniquely positioned to serve customers through every stage of the homeownership journey - building, selling, financing, and insuring homes.
