The Risk Manager role involves providing quality and risk management support throughout the opportunity and engagement lifecycle, including risk consultations to opportunity pursuit teams, reviewing and revising as applicable draft contracts (Statement of Works, Engagement Letters, Change Orders) for professional services, assisting in and at times leading negotiations with clients and other third parties, monitoring and mitigating risk during engagement execution, and serving as a trusted risk advisor to senior client service executives. Collecting and analyzing data for new and renewal accounts, marketing applications to carriers, and preparing coverage summaries and proposals.
Manage entity tax administration, including oversight of 1060 allocations and seller communications, completion of required IRS forms (8832, 8822-B, 966), and coordination with Legal on registered agent transitions and entity compliance matters. Lead tax-related acquisition and integration activities by reviewing third-party diligence findings, assessing risk mitigation strategies with external tax advisors, coordinating nexus studies, and overseeing the transition of tax filings and compliance requirements.
