The Director of Compliance and Risk Management (Director) oversees and administers OSUMT's Compliance and Risk Management Programs (Programs) and is responsible for ensuring their effectiveness in identifying, preventing, detecting, and correcting potential or actual noncompliance with applicable laws and regulations and for leading efforts in risk identification, event review, and trend analysis. Responsibilities include: 1) overseeing compliance related activities; 2) providing strategic direction regarding compliance risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and reporting; 3) coordinating and integrating compliance activities across the organization; 4) monitoring and responding to the evolving regulatory and enforcement environment; and 5) promoting a culture of compliance, safety, ethics, accountability, and integrity through ongoing communication, education, and leadership engagement.
