Key Responsibilities • Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and prepare patients for surgical or procedural interventions • Monitor patients emerging from anesthesia, assessing airway patency, hemodynamic stability, and level of consciousness • Administer analgesics, antiemetics, and other post-operative medications per physician orders and unit protocols • Identify and respond promptly to post-anesthesia complications such as respiratory depression, hypotension, or agitation • Document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in the electronic health record • Educate patients and families on post-operative care instructions and discharge criteria • Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and surgical team members to ensure seamless transitions of care ✅ Requirements • Active OH or Compact RN license • ACLS, BLS/BCLS, BLS certifications • 2+ years of PACU/Pre-Post Op Registered Nurse (RN) experience • PALS certification preferred or required per facility Pay Pay range: $1,320 to $1,382 per week.
