Experience with arterial line management, ventilator management, continuous intravenous sedation, vasoactive and cardiac drip titration, central line care, blood product administration, cardiac and neurocritical care, acute stroke management, external ventricular drain monitoring, intracranial pressure monitoring, renal failure, chest tubes, high-flow oxygen therapy, noninvasive and invasive ventilation, dysrhythmia interpretation, and isolation precautions. Clinical responsibilities may include postoperative cardiac and neurosurgical care, cardiac catheterization recovery, intra-aortic balloon pump and continuous renal replacement therapy support, transcatheter aortic valve replacement care, targeted temperature management, and care of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction.
