Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification. The unit includes a 13-bed maternal assessment center for pregnant-patient triage, 35 beds, and protocols for oxytocin, cervical ripening, magnesium sulfate, hydralazine, and labetalol.
