Related Degree, Credential, and/or Occupational Experience in: Emergency Medical Care, Colorado EMT Registration Certification, Athletic Trainer Registration Certification, American Red Cross Emergency Medical Response Instructor Certificate or Paramedic, NREMT-Paramedic, Registered Nurse, OR higher-level emergency medical care related medical credential (such as board-certified physician in Emergency Medicine). Instructors use appropriate technology, simulation, hands-on learning, and effective teaching strategies to help students develop the knowledge, psychomotor skills, clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, and professionalism necessary for EMS practice.
