Performs donor/patient care activities including vascular access, specimen collection, medication/chemo administration, transfusions, nursing procedures, and documentation of all assessments, interventions and responses. Daily functions may include incidental exposure to hazards associated with automation, chemicals, microscopic work, and patient specimens, microorganisms, phlebotomy equipment and sharps.
