Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor of Education/Staff Development, the Education/Staff Development Educator is responsible for planning, coordinating, implementing, and facilitating education and training programs for professional employees, clinical employees, non-professional employees, current or past patients, students, volunteers, and community members in order to provide the highest quality patient care and satisfaction. This may include orientation programs; in-services, of training programs including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; patient and/or community related education; on-line education programs and/or courses, and oversight of CE programs with the Board of Registered Nursing or other regulatory body requirements.
