Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor & Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience in an acute care hospital setting License: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required Certifications: BLS and NRP required; C-EFM & Int AWHONN FHM preferred Must-Have Skills/Experience: Experience in a team-based, high acuity environment Comfortable managing care for 2 patients in Labor & Birth and 3-4 patients on Antepartum Good problem-solving skills, fetal monitoring, OB emergencies, and rapid response Ability to independently manage laboring patients including high-risk cases Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills Description: The Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivering, and immediate postpartum patients.
