Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Post Partum/Mom Baby Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS, NRP Must-Have: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred Ability to recognize unit workflow, processes, policies, and procedures within the post partum unit Ability to assess and identify risk factors related to sepsis, venous thromboembolism/deep vein thrombosis (VTE/DVT), suicide, malignant hyperthermia, and pressure injury Ability to provide discharge education and assessment, manage pain, and prioritize patient care needs based on acuity Proficient in using AIDET and BSSR Description: The Registered Nurse Mother Baby unit cares for women and newborns. Key equipment includes vital signs machines, glucometers, computers, TCB, and post partum supplies.
