Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse license eligible for submission; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA); National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; at least 1 year of Telemetry, Intermediate Care, or Step-Down Registered Nurse experience; substantial cardiac-care experience; intravenous drip experience; strong communication, teamwork, and work ethic. Additional Information: Patient population may include post-cardiac catheterization patients, pre-coronary artery bypass grafting patients, chest pain, non-ST-elevation myocardial infarction, congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, pneumonia, diabetes, dialysis, altered mental status, nephrology, hematology, wounds, and stroke overflow.
