A typical day includes updating integrated project plans and VPM boards, resolving scheduling conflicts, running core team and workstream meetings, tracking risks and action items to closure, and preparing materials for phase gate and Portfolio Decision Team (PDT) reviews — balancing hands-on problem-solving with proactive planning so the team stays aligned on scope, timeline, and budget. As a Project Manager III in the CDG Program Management Office, you'll drive day-to-day execution of one or more new product development or sustaining programs, partnering closely with cross-functional core teams (R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Marketing) to keep plans on track.
