<h2>Is this you?</h2><ul><li>Can you turn a stack of work orders into a precise weekly schedule that uses 100% of available technician hours?</li><li>Do you enjoy balancing parts, tools, and labor to deliver safe, efficient, proactive maintenance?</li><li>Are you the person who keeps a Ready Backlog at 80% or higher while partnering closely with Production?</li></ul><h2>Your impact</h2><ul><li>Scope non-emergency work: inspect job sites, clarify deliverables, and define requirements.</li><li>Estimate labor hours and required skill sets; identify materials, parts, equipment, and special tools.</li><li>Source and verify technical information: drawings, schematics, specifications, spare parts lists (from equipment histories), OEM manuals, and Knowledgebase references.</li><li>Confirm part availability before scheduling; arrange special tools and auxiliary equipment.</li></ul><h2>What you’ll own weekly</h2><ul><li>Facilitate planning and scheduling meetings with Production to set priorities, share status, and realign planned maintenance when needed.</li><li>Maintain an organized backlog and keep the Ready Backlog at or above 80%.</li><li>Publish a Weekly Technician Schedule that fully loads 100% of available technician labor hours across priority planned and PM tasks.</li><li>Strengthen planning and scheduling through reviews and maintenance metrics.</li><li>Keep accurate records and files for analysis and reporting.</li><li>Train employees on CMMS usage and uphold system integrity and adoption.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications</h2><ul><li>Associate Degree (technical) with 1–3 years in maintenance planning/scheduling; or 5–10 years as a machine repair technician; or equivalent experience mix.</li><li>Industrial manufacturing familiarity with electrical/mechanical aptitude.</li><li>Proficiency with computers, CMMS, and Microsoft Office.</li><li>Strong verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills; relationship-building ability.</li></ul><h3>Preferred extras</h3><ul><li>Leadership development interest.</li><li>Experience creating job plans, scheduling work, and supporting execution.</li><li>Project management and capital project experience.</li><li>CMRP, Green Belt, and/or STS certifications.</li></ul><h3>Competencies that set you apart</h3><ul><li>Drive & Motivation</li><li>Interpersonal Skills</li><li>Task Management</li><li>Strategic Skills</li><li>Customer Focus</li></ul><h2>Physical realities of the job</h2><ul><li>Frequent standing and walking; manual dexterity; reaching with hands/arms.</li><li>Climbing and balancing at heights (ladders/lifts) and working in confined spaces (stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling).</li><li>Regular talking/hearing; occasional sitting.</li><li>Occasional lifting/moving of items over 50 pounds.</li><li>Regular need for close and color vision.</li><li>Occasional exposure to outdoor weather and risk of electrical shock.</li><li>Loud factory environment with possible exposure to hazardous materials and greasy or slippery floors.</li></ul><h2>Pay and benefits</h2><p>ATS believes in fair and equitable pay.
