Being a part of the scheduling team, you will be handling a wide range of paperwork, typing duties, and phone calls with an aptitude to work independently or with little supervision while communicating with fellow employees who are working out in the field.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>Summary/Objective:</strong></div><div>The Sealcoating & Striping scheduler will perform route planning for up to 7 crews, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping.<br/><br/></div><div><strong>Scheduling duties:</strong></div><ul><li>Answers phones and emails, schedules and confirms appointments, and inputs customer data into company systems.</li><li>Work closely with the Vice President & Field Supervisor to monitor the days job and plan for future schedules.</li><li>Monitor the weather closely and make decisions on holds, rain dates, and re-scheduling.</li><li>Process paperwork for scheduling department and production crews.</li><li>Assist office personnel as necessary.</li><li>Assist with other projects as needed.</li><li>Back-up scheduler for sealcoat division.</li><li>Work with other employees to maintain an environment of cooperation and teamwork to complete all tasks.</li></ul><div><br/><strong>Competencies:</strong></div><ul><li>Scheduling.</li><li>Administrative writing skills.</li><li>Professionalism, confidentiality, and organization.</li><li>Reporting skills.</li><li>Travel logistics.</li><li>Typing.</li><li>Verbal Communication.</li><li>Microsoft Office skills.</li></ul><div><br/><strong>Work Environment:</strong></div><div>This job operates in a business casual office environment. We are looking for a <strong>Production Planner / Scheduler</strong> to join our team.</p><p>This role is responsible for creating, releasing, and monitoring work orders based on customer demand and forecasts.
