Experience in alterations required; Experience & proficiency with industrial sewing equipment required; Excellent Attention to Detail; Ability to read a measuring tape; Familiarity with & competency in using hand tools to remove zippers; Prior use of electric hand tools (fabric cutters) a plus; The sewing skills required include hemming pants to the correct inseam, shortening sleeves, placing zippers in pant legs, and a variety of other sewing operations that involve the customization and repair of garments-replacing broken zippers, patching, re-sewing belt loops, etc. From hemming and sleeve alterations to zipper replacements, patches, reflective tape, and other garment repairs, you'll play an important role in ensuring every garment is customer-ready, accurate, and professionally finished.
