The primary purpose of this position is to perform work of limited scope or difficulty involved in the maintenance and repair of grounds, exterior structures, buildings, and related utilities, and to assist journeyman or other higher graded maintenance workers in performing more difficult assignments associated with occupations such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, cement work, painting, roofing, and other related trades. Experience performing the following under general supervision: operating gasoline vehicles such as powered trucks, farm tractors, and light industrial tractors; AND performing grounds maintenance; AND minor duties in at least one of the carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, or masonry trades to construct, repair, restore buildings, fences, picnic areas, etc.
