Job offers will be determined based on the answers you provide! As a Ride Operator at Six Flags New England…You’ll Contribute to our Mission by:<ul><li>Providing guests with a safe and enjoyable ride experience</li><li>Entertaining guests and calming their nerves as they board our world-class rides and attractions</li><li>Controlling buttons and switches to launch attractions out onto the ride course</li><li>Ensuring the overall safe operation of your assigned ride or attraction</li><li>Making sure seat belts are tight, loose items are secure, and lap bars are locked to keep guests safe</li><li>Enforcing rider restrictions and ensuring guest meet the height requirements</li><li>Assisting guests in and out of ride vehicles and cycle through the line with a safe sense of urgency</li><li>Keeping ride patios, queue lines, and midways clean and looking great</li><li>Acting as a first responder to ride emergencies to keep guests calm</li><li>­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies</li><li>Assisting in other areas of the Rides Department</li><li>Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned</li></ul>  You’ll do it with your:<ul><li>Ability to work in an environment as fast-paced as our coasters </li><li>Ability to pass ride certification tests</li><li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety</li><li>Friendly, outgoing personality inviting guests to your boarding station</li><li>Positive attitude to make guests excited about their ride</li><li>Ability to remain calm in stressful situations</li></ul>  You’ll know you’re ready when:<ul><li>Must be 18 years or older</li><li>Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays</li><li>Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language</li><li>Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.</li></ul> What You’ll Get:  <ul><li>Free admission to Six Flags parks</li><li>Complimentary day tickets and season passes for friends and family </li><li>Scholarship opportunities </li><li>Exclusive employee rewards and events like ride nights and picnics</li><li>Discounts on food and merchandise while visiting as a guest, and additional discounts though our Perk Spot program </li><li>401K for eligible employees</li></ul> Note: This job description is not intended to be all inclusive.
