Under general direction, to administer a Community Re-entry Center, a Planning and Research Unit, a Criminal Investigation Unit, a Central Identification Bureau, a Records, Warrants, Dispatch and Crime Analysis Unit, or a Coronerâs Bureau; to assist in the administration and management of a large detention facility or substation; to perform a particular assignment in the Civil and Court functions; to perform staff inspection services, making complete investigations and necessary reports regarding department policies, practices and procedures as directed by the Sheriff; to perform in specific roles for contract services as directed by the Sheriff; and to perform staff administrative duties and related work as required.
