Outpatient Clinic: Conduct new patient consultations, pre-operative evaluations, and postoperative follow-up visits; manage wound care, suture/staple removal, and surgical site assessments; in-office procedures commensurate with skill level and training; coordinate multidisciplinary care plans with surgeons. Operating Room: Serve as first assistant for craniofacial reconstruction, gender-affirming surgical procedures (e.g., facial feminization/masculinization, chest and genital reconstruction), free flap and microsurgical cases, and general reconstructive procedures; assist with positioning, exposure, closure, and intraoperative decision-making.
