The Supervising Engineer provides direct supervision and leadership to assigned professional staff, including Project Managers and GIS personnel, and is responsible for establishing priorities, assigning workloads, monitoring employee performance, and ensuring effective delivery of the Citys engineering and capital improvement program. Attend and participate in community meetings to provide information on projects, make presentations to civic groups, city commission, city boards, and governmental officials, act as the City representative on various advisory committees and boards and respond to questions or resolve sensitive issues and complaints.
