The role runs day-to-day risk activity, including identification, prioritization, mitigation planning, and monitoring, facilitates risk workshops alongside value engineering and lessons-learned sessions, and performs quantitative risk analysis across cost, schedule, and integrated cost-schedule models to support forecasting. Because significant risk sits at both strategic and contract levels across owners, contractors, and public-sector partners bound by legislation, political commitments, and legacy obligations, the role also acts as a risk ambassador, coaching stakeholders and integrating risk data with cost and schedule frameworks so that decisions rest on one consistent, transparent view of program risk.
