In this role you will work alongside the Principal in EMI San Diego, to manage delivery of projects including complex finite element analysis, structural dynamics, seismic design for extreme earthquake events, design of rotating and vibrating equipment supports, pressure vessels, liquid storage tanks, vibration mitigation, impact/blast, aircraft impact assessment, anchorage to concrete, and equipment seismic testing and certification/qualification. A successful candidate for EMI may work on design, analysis, licensing/regulatory, and research projects related to buildings, bridges, pipelines, nuclear facilities, tanks, rail vehicles, rotating equipment, precision observatory structures, and other non-building critical infrastructure systems.
