What You'll DoAs a Housekeeper, you'll play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming community by:Keeping resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining rooms, activity rooms, shower rooms, offices, workstations, and common areas clean and comfortableVacuuming and cleaning carpeted areas throughout the communityDusting and cleaning furniture, equipment, walls, ceilings, woodwork, doors, windows, and windowsillsDisinfecting and sterilizing equipment and supplies while following infection-control practicesEmptying wastebaskets and transporting trash and waste to designated disposal areasKeeping housekeeping carts, utility rooms, and storage areas clean, organized, and well stockedMaintaining housekeeping inventory and helping coordinate the housekeeping schedule for rooms and common areasHelping ensure resident rooms are secure by checking doors, windows, lights, and air conditioning when appropriateFollowing all safety requirements for the use, storage, and disposal of cleaning chemicals and hazardous materialsFollowing St. Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredCurrent CPR and First Aid certificationValid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance CardPreferred ExperiencePrevious housekeeping, environmental services, or similar experience preferred; experience working in a senior living or healthcare setting is a plus.
