Bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine, agricultural sciences, biology, engineering, or an animal-based agriculture-related field (foreign equivalent accepted) and 1 year experience as an animal scientist, farmworker, or related position including 1 year experience working with commercial swine or cattle operations. May engage in and/or direct other team members in gruel feeding, mat feeding, and handfeeding, documentation of all sow and gilt activity on each sow card, and/or participation in estrus detection of sows and gilts and insemination of sows and gilts.
