Qualifications: Fluent in Spanish and English, master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or closely related mental health field from an accredited college or university, license eligible preferred (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT), need to have completed an internship during masters program to obtain 45 credits, CANS certification preferred (also able to obtain after hiring if needed), nonjudgmental ability to foster self-sufficiency using problem-solving and practical skills, ability to establish trusting relationships through compassion, empathy and insight, demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of clients from diverse cultural or linguistic backgrounds, excellent time management skills to maintain appointments and timely record keeping, candidate must possess appropriate citizenship work documentation, candidate must pass a CORI and drug test, as well as other pre-employment documentation. Essential: Assess clients or family's needs and eligibility for services, provide individual, family and group therapy sessions in accordance with assigned client needs, support clients through collaboration with client's family, school, other medical service providers, state agencies, other mental health services (including crisis services), and other community agencies and resources, provide case management, referrals, and treatment planning for assigned clients, establish and maintain effective working relationships within the agency, community and referral sources.
