The Senior Grossing Technician is responsible for grossing/dissecting any simple and complex, cancerous and non-cancerous cases including gallbladder, appendix, tonsils, knee and hip replacements, sinus, cysts, skin biopsies (including oriented/unoriented), and mohs excisions. Grossing Technician's contribute to the overall efficiency of the laboratory or pathology practice in a cost effective manner by performing a variety of tasks, consisting primarily of gross examination of surgical pathology specimens.
