p/>The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates patients with speech, language, communication and swallowing disorders, establishes functional goals and treatment programs, treats patients according to diagnosis utilizing therapeutic modalities and procedures as prescribed, supervises and delegates tasks to supportive personnel, maintains appropriate records using departmental documentation (EHR), communicates patients progress to physicians and other health care workers as indicated, meets department productivity expectations, accepts responsibility for personal and professional growth and performs other duties as assigned.
Performs appropriate evaluation and treatments with interdisciplinary rehab team based on thorough medical chart review; including physical and occupational therapies, in order to provide comprehensive treatment for acute care and placement needs.
