Responsible for rooming patients, obtaining medical histories, completing thorough documentation in EMR, preparation of injections, front desk phone calls, assisting with procedures, including the application and removal of casts and the fitting and educational use of Durable Medical Equipment (DME). Preferred Associations and Certifications are: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) - CMA, American Medical Technologists (AMT) - RMA, and National Healthcareer Association (NHA) - CCMA.
